Well, well, well...another actor blogging his ass off. How narcissistic! Why bother posting? Why bother reading?
I've been inspired of late as I carouse the blogs, mainly pertaining to Richmond theatre. Andrew Hamm and David Timberline especially, but Bruce Miller has a good one, Scott Wichmann is always entertaining...the list goes on.
Thing is, blogs are a peek into a person's life that we normally wouldn't see (if they so choose to show us). Being actors (or theatre artists, or practitioners, or whatever term is in vogue this news cycle), it can offer a rarer glimpse into how an artist creates, interprets, dreams...yadda yadda yadda.
I mainly want to see if I can keep this thing going. I teach full time, have an amazing wife, 2 awesome sons, plus a burgeoning acting career. Do I have time to blog? I hope so. Maybe once weekly, maybe not, but it's worth a shot, I think.
Don't expect depth or insight. Expect confusion, questioning, insanity...etc.
I'm a fan of ellipses.
